THE DEATH OF THE WOMAN
“Upcycling is a process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or for better environmental value".
And why not do it with art? Especially with art produced by oneself. Of course, I am not treating my previous art pieces as useless products. Applying critical thinking about my own creations to my art. Finding out new meanings to what was already done in a wider context.
The experience of working at Tate Galleries in London gave me the ability to feel more critical of what art is today. “Upcycling -The Death of the Woman” is an attempt at criticism in the contemporary art world.
